The platinum chapter designation is awarded to chapters that meet rigorous standards of excellence as established by ASSP. They are considered to be strong role models for other chapters to emulate.

Honoree Benefits
We recognize platinum-level chapters on the ASSP website. These chapters also receive an award recognizing their achievement.
Nominee Requirements
Any ASSP chapter is eligible for platinum chapter status. Generally, chapters are judged on criteria such as:
- Member engagement
- Community outreach
- Professional development offerings
- Leadership development to build a sustainable community
Submission Guidelines
Due Date: June 30
Our chapters complete an annual performance report that indicates how well they met basic standards of excellence. The Council on Region Affairs evaluates these reports to assess how significantly each chapter provided value to its local members, as well as the amount of work involved in its activities.
