Emerging Professionals Mentorship Program

Membership

Our Emerging Professionals in OSH mentoring program pairs tomorrow’s leaders with today’s professionals to foster career growth and professional development. 

Guidelines for Mentors and Mentees

  • You must be an member of ASSP and our Emerging Professionals in OSH Common Interest Group to participate as a mentee in this program
  • All information exchanged between matched pairs for mentoring is held in strict confidence; applications are viewed only by the matching committee
  • Pairing is based on answers you provide on the application to ensure a fulfilling and rewarding experience
  • Mentors and mentees should commit to at least one hour per month for meeting, by phone, e-mail or in person
  • Teams are matched for six months with an option to extend for another six months if both parties agree
  • Mentors are not expected to provide employment or business opportunities for mentees — just life lessons, advice, coaching and mentoring

Application

Submit your application anytime. Matches are made each April and October.

Note: To participate as a mentor, you must be an ASSP member, but you do not have to be a member of Emerging Professionals in OSH.
