We are the premier resource for occupational safety and health (OSH) professionals looking for technical knowledge and expertise related to ergonomics and workplace safety. Ergonomics in a work setting encompasses understanding the interactions between humans and other elements of the work system and applying ergonomics design principles to optimize worker well-being and overall system performance.

What We Do

  • The Ergonomics Practice Specialty is dedicated to advancing the field of ergonomics and human factors by fostering professional collaboration between ergonomists, OSH professionals and those with an interest in improving the lives of individuals at and away from work.
  • We support developing professionals by connecting them with a wide range of experts and offering a platform to network. By sharing best practices, research studies, emerging issues and success stories, we also provide opportunities to advance in the field.
