Platform Statement
As with many of us, the safety profession found me, hooked me, and lured me in. Not only has it been my career for the past 17 + years, it is my passion.
Working in healthcare related industry has been a large part of my professional experience. As someone who has spent a good amount of time in and out of hospitals, I have an extreme appreciation for the women and men who directly and indirectly comfort and care for their patients and those who work in the laboratory providing diagnostic tests. As a safety professional, I want to serve those who provide these invaluable services, and make certain they go home to their families at the end of the day.
I want to use my leadership skills to promote health care safety, share ideas within industry, and provide our members and others in the health care field with information, training, and education to enhance a positive safety culture in the health care field.
Health care safety is my passion.
