Safety 2020: Look What’s Happening for Students

Safety students participate in roundtable discussionStudents who register for Safety 2020 through April 27 receive our special student rate pf $75. Faculty advisors (one per student section) who register by March 13 receive a special rate of $300.

Be sure to take advantage of all that Safety 2020 in Orlando, FL, has to offer:

  • Emerging Professionals in OSH Networking Event: Hang out with our Emerging Professionals in OSH Common Interest Group on Monday, June 22, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a networking reception (location to be determined). The $15 registration fee includes two drink tickets and appetizers (until exhausted). Learn more
  • Emerging Professionals and Student Networking Breakfast: Learn how to maximize your conference experience and how to get involved in ASSP. Enjoy a continental breakfast and engage with your peers on Tuesday, June 23, and Wednesday, June 24, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. ASSP senior leaders will be on hand.
  • Student Roundtable Discussions: Safety Talks: Engage in informal discussions with OSH professionals from various industries on Wednesday, June 24, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Select three different discussion topics facilitated by professionals who will share their career experiences, discuss leadership and communication skills, and highlight other topics relevant to a career in safety. Come network with fellow students, OSH professionals and potential employers.
  • Bash on the Block: Attend our common interest groups receptions and Bash on the Block on Wednesday, June 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Learn more
  • Career Center: View job opportunities and internships, meet potential employers and take advantage of hands-on resume critiques and job search advice.
  • Research Poster Sessions: Share your research with thousands of practicing safety professionals and add an esteemed research presentation to your resume. Learn more
