Working Together for Safety: Health Hazards of Stagnant Plumbing Systems

May 27, 2020

Working Together for Safety: Episode 8 — Risk of Legionnaires' Disease from ASSP Safety on Vimeo.

In the latest episode of our “Working Together for Safety” weekly video series, ASSP President Diana Stegall, CSP, CFPS, ARM, says that COVID-19 isn’t the only health risk that returning workers may face. Many buildings have been closed for extended periods due to shelter-in-place orders, causing stagnant plumbing systems to be a source of illness. Facility managers must address this unexpected risk.

Look for new episodes of "Working Together for Safety" on the ASSP website each Wednesday.
