ASSP Develops Courses on Safety Management Systems

Jul 01, 2020

A safety management system is a powerful tool for continuously improving OSH in an organization. To continue delivering education to help you maintain safe workplaces, your Society has developed two online courses focused on safety management systems.

The first course, “Implementing ANSI/ASSP Z10 Management System Based on Systems Thinking,” introduces foundational concepts of systems thinking, and provides insights on concepts related to the new view of safety and human and organizational performance. The course is slated to run July 9 to Aug. 6, 2020.

The second course, “Internal OHSMS Auditing Using ISO 45001,” is designed to examine the standard from an auditor’s perspective. This course is slated to run July 12 to Aug. 16, 2020.
