Ronilla is an Occupational Safety and Health professional with over 17 years of extensive experience in both the public and private sector. She firmly believes that safety is no accident. Ronilla’s areas of responsibilities have included compliance with all Federal and State occupational safety and health regulations.
Ronilla’s has been providing leadership, directing programs, mentoring, training, resources, education, policy development, and consultation services throughout her working years. Her areas of expertise include industrial hygiene, indoor air quality, job safety analysis, use and maintenance of sampling instruments, monitoring equipment, respiratory protection, chemical protection. As a consultant Ronilla has conducted field inspections in governmental, construction, municipal, and hospital settings. Ronilla has led teams to address IAQ, confined space entry and assessments, PPE assessments, workplace incident investigations, working from heights, COVID test facility guidance to name a few.
Ronilla has earned her Master of Public Health in Environmental Health Science with emphasis on Industrial Hygiene from the University of South Carolina. Additionally, Ronilla has earned Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Dental Surgery degrees from Nationally recognized institutions in India.
Ronilla is currently serves as the Secretary of Women’s Division, National Safety Council. She previously served as the Social Media Chair (5/12/2020 – 6/30/2022) and Content Coordinator (5/14/2020 – 6/30/2022) in the ASSP PSPS Advisory Committee.
I have been part of ASSP since 2020 and have benefitted greatly and learned a lot from my peers. I am excited for the opportunity to run for the Assistant Administrator and to give back to the members of the PSPS. If elected, I will work closely with the Administrator to fulfil the purpose and goal of PSPS.
I have 17 years of experience in the Safety and Health sector both in public and private sectors and I believe I will prove to be a great addition and asset to the PSPS.
