Board of Directors
- Senior Vice President (1-year term succeeds to President-Elect)
- Director-At-Large (3-year term 7/1/2022 to 6/30/2025)
To be eligible, you must be a professional member in good standing with ASSP and cannot concurrently hold other elected Society offices. Each candidate should also possess several "overarching qualifications” — clearly defined in Society Operating Guidelines, section 6.8, Criteria for Candidates for Society Office. Qualifications required of candidates include:
- Involvement in ASSP initiatives on a council, committee or task force
- Ability to motivate others, and organize and accomplish projects
- Supportive of ASSP’s mission, objectives and strategic plan

All Board of Director elections must be contested (two candidates). ASSP’s Nominations and Elections Committee will keep nominations open past the deadline if we have not received a sufficient number of qualified submissions for an open position.
Board of Director candidates may be asked to participate in a virtual interview process
