Platform Statement

I’m excited about the opportunity to serve as your RVP, to add value to our membership, to network with some of the best minds in the business, and to support and lead our volunteer Area and Chapter teams.   I will work with all of our chapter’s volunteer leaders to bring improvements and efficiencies within the region as we look to have an impact in the larger world of occupational safety and health.

As RVP for Region VIII my vision for moving forward involves working as a servant leader for all of our members and volunteer chapter leaders.

If elected I would strive to:

  • Serve as an active listener to help ensure our chapters and region build on the great work of the volunteer leaders who preceded us and respects our member’s time while delivering quality resources.
  • Enhance networking and collaboration between the chapters so that innovative ideas and best practices can spread.
  • Work closely with chapters to ensure we effectively recruit and foster the next generation of safety innovators and champions into leadership roles within Region VIII.

I look forward to supporting our members by being your regional vice president. Thank you for your vote.
