Biography

Sanjay Jaiswal CSP, CIH, CIT, SMS, is working as Safety Specialist in Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait. He is double graduate in Bachelors of Sciences and Bachelors of Fire Engineering. He carries over 30 years’ experience in the HSE consultancy and management in Oil & Gas industries, implementation of HSE Management Systems besides fire prevention and protection.

Sanjay Jaiswal is a Professional Member of ASSP and Past Executive Committee member of ASSP–Kuwait Chapter served it in the capacity of Training Committee Head [Term 2014-15, Treasurer Term 2015-16 and Secretary Term 2016-17] for three years. In addition, As a member of Organizing Committee, he played an important role in organizing the PDC  in 2015 and 2019 by ASSP, Kuwait Chapter. Also he served as Organizing Committee member for the GCC HSE Excellence Award 2016 and 2017 of ASSP Kuwait Chapter.

Sanjay Jaiswal presented number of technical HSE papers at different international HSSE Conferences, including PDC-2015 and 2019 @ Kuwait Chapter and published technical articles in ASSP bulletin.  He was awarded with Best Technical Paper presenter in the 2nd Kuwait International HSE Conference organized by KPC, Kuwait. He was also awarded Kuwait Oil Company’s C&MD HSSE Award.

In early 2020, he is declared winner of SPY Award for the Region IX as well as SPY Award for the Kuwait Chapter. Moreover, significant contribution was made by inducting about 100 new members for the ASSP Kuwait Chapter during May- June 2017 for which ASSP HQ has recognized him.

Platform Statement

It is an honor to be nominated for the position of the Administrator of Global Operations PS. With the support of my family, employer, ASSP Kuwait Chapter, fellow safety professionals, I accept the nomination to help the practice specialty and Society to continue to improve and evolve.

As a safety professional, we have all experienced various challenges in the respective organizations. Whether it is economic crisis/slowdown, we are all committed to serve to ensure safe work environment is created and maintained/improved.

ASSP's strength is a result of our strong member networks across the globe and diversified collective knowledge.  There has been lot of great work by great people to get the Global Operations PS as well as the Society into better shape day by day. With an objective, will ensure let Global Operations PS continue to expand its base, to provide best experience for society members, encourage professional development and succession planning.

As an Administrator, I will bring your voice directly to the Global Operation PS.  I’ll continue to engage as a professional member, be active in local chapter as well as in Global Operations PS and attend or deliver at various conferences.  Having networking with diversified nationalities having rich experience in HSE in respective disciplines, it would be great platform to bring various ideas which can further enhance and add value to the Global Operations PS.  My role besides doing justice to the role, it remains a volunteer role to serve to the members and professional development.
