Michael has been with American Contractors Insurance Group, (ACIG) since 1995. He has over 34 years of experience in the construction and insurance industries. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Purdue University and holds the CSP, ARM, and CIT certifications, the LEED Green Associate, and CRIS designations. He is a professional member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), including a voting member of the Z359 Fall Protection and Restraints Committee. He is a previous at-large board member of the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, (BCSP) a student mentor for the Southwest chapter of ASSP, and a Growing Opportunities & Learning Discovery (GOLD) mentor with Georgia Tech University.

Nash Doyle

Nash is a Global Safety, Health & Environment executive with 20 years experience in heavy manufacturing and professional services in architecture, engineering and construction working Asia Pacific and Americas. He is passionate about creating a sustainable culture, built around participation, commitment and accountability. Personally he enjoys cooking gardening, and being a new dad and holds a bachelor's degree in Science Communication.

Paul Riley

Paul Riley is a Certified Safety Professional with over 33 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. He received his bachelor's degree in environmental & occupational safety & health from Brigham Young University and his master’s degree in business administration. He has worked in the Safety and Health profession in several different industries including Mining, Agriculture, Insurance, Government, Manufacturing, and Construction. Paul is currently the Director of Safety & Health for AgReserves, Inc. and oversees a team of 13 safety and health professionals. AgReserves, Inc. is the largest multi-national agriculture investment company in the world. AgReserves, Inc. is involved in growing Beef, Dairy, Almonds, Pistachios, Walnuts, Pecans, Olive Oil, Potatoes, Onions, Corn, Wheat, Cotton, Soybeans and several other commodities. Paul is currently the chairman of the board of directors for the Agricultural Safety and Health Council of America and is a past President of the Utah Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) as well as the past Administrator of the Management Practice Specialty for ASSP.

Stephanie L. Johnson

Stephanie is an accomplished leader in Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) with over two decades of experience driving compliance, innovation, and transformative initiatives across diverse industries. As Director of EH&S, Stephanie oversees policy development and implementation, leveraging both internal SMEs and external consultants. She has held key leadership roles at AT&T, including Associate Director of EH&S Environmental Services, where she led compliance programs for tanks, waste, water, and WEEE, and managed AT&T’s exit from the California Waste Consent Judgment. Before joining AT&T in 2013, Stephanie led EH&S programs across transportation, construction, semiconductor, and manufacturing sectors, contributing to state and federal regulatory development. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin, dual certifications in Safety and Environmental, and serves on the board of directors for the American Society of Safety Professionals, the Dallas Black Dance Theatre, and Texas Exes. Stephanie is a sought-after speaker and dedicated community advocate.

Morgan Hager

Calpine, VP, Environmental, Health and Safety

Morgan is an expert in creating, optimizing, managing, and implementing impactful environmental, social, and governance strategies for the energy industry’s value chain. With almost 20 years of experience in international exploration and development of energy around the world, Morgan has experience building governance programs and improving operational efficacy to meet the requirements of complex, transnational regulatory frameworks. Morgan currently serves as Vice President of Calpine’s, Environmental, Health, and Safety department, where she leads with an integrated approach to operation, governance, and risk management and acts as a liaison and spokesperson for environmental, social, and governance issues. In her current role she draws upon a vast knowledge of process design, sustainability, integrity management, planning, engineering, and compliance. Morgan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from the University of Central Arkansas and a Master of Engineering in Environmental Engineering from the University of Arkansas.

Jason Michael

Jason is is a graduate of Illinois State University with a degree in Environmental Health and has over 30 years in Environmental, Health and Safety within a manufacturing environment. He has extensive experience across many areas of EHS with current responsibilities focusing on global management of EHS talent, safety strategy transformation, and contractor safety management. Throughout his career Jason has developed specific experience with emergency response and fire protection, industrial hygiene, confined space entry, compliance assessment, risk mitigation, and environmental reporting. Jason also has experience as a Firefighter and EMT.

Kevin Landry

Cintas Corporation, Corporate H&S Communications Manager

Kevin has been with Cintas over 25 years. His initial roles with the company were in operations, and he transitioned to health and safety in 2009. Kevin attained his CSP credentials in 2015. He has contributed to the advancement of Health and Safety within Cintas through many mentorships, being a knowledgeable and helpful resource to the locations he supports, guiding several locations to attain OSHA VPP Star status, and through the authoring of a number of health and safety policies and programs. Externally, he has given of himself as an OSHA SGE, and as a volunteer and guest speaker at several conferences and forums over the years. Kevin is passionate about building safety cultures based on genuine care and harnessing the power and insights of the frontline worker. He is honored to be serving as a member of the ASSP Executive Safety Forum.

Martin Stern

Marty currently serves as Vice President, Global EHS with the Colgate-Palmolive Company.  In this role he is responsible for the development and implementation of all Colgate global environment, health, safety, and auditing programs and standards, as well as Global Supply Chain Sustainability.  His primary focus in this role is to establish foundational programs to minimize and reduce critical risks.  He serves as the interface to external health and safety groups to benchmark and identify best practices.     Previously, he served in a variety of EHS Director and Division Lead positions.  He has been with Colgate for 25 years in various EHS and operational responsibilities in manufacturing, R&D, Corporate, and the commercial side.  He has been responsible for establishing a number of key initiatives and programs that have helped to deliver sustainable performance, while instituting strong foundational programs in culture and risk reduction.  This has helped reshape Colgate’s approach to EOHS processes and management systems.  Additionally he spent 9+ years with AT&T in a variety of EOHS responsibilities, and 2 years in environmental consulting

Pete is a dedicated EHS professional with over 25 years of experience spanning food and chemical manufacturing, warehousing, and retail. He currently serves as the Senior Director of EHS and Workers' Compensation at Harbor Freight Tools. Dr. VanDerlyke holds a master’s in EHS Management from RIT and a PhD in Safety Sciences from IUP. Passionate about education, he has developed EHS curricula and taught as an adjunct professor. He has also been an engaged member of the American Society of Safety Professionals for more than 20 years.

Michael Finnamore

He also serves as a member of Medtronic’s Sustainability Steering Committee. Prior to joining Medtronic, Michael led the Global EHS&S program for Pactiv Evergreen, Hillrom Corporation and spent over 20 years with Baxter Healthcare Corporation in various roles culminating as the Global Director of Industrial Hygiene. Michael has 25 years of EHS experience including industrial hygiene, radiation safety, pharmaceutical safety, EHS management system implementation, auditing and safety culture change with positive value system creation. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and a Master of Science in Public Health from the University of Utah. His professional credentials include a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). His last role with GE was GM Global Services for the GE Industrial business. Alberto currently works as President/COO of MetroPower Inc. A leading specialty electrical, mechanical and Systems life cycle solutions contractor in the Southeast. Alberto, his wife Marcela, and daughters Isabella & Chiara reside in Atlanta, GA.

She is an accomplished EHS and Human Resources professional with more than twenty years of progressive experience developing, implementing, and directing EHS and human resource policies and programs that drive improvement in performance, organizational culture, employee performance and operating results. Melissa holds a BS in Occupational Health and Safety from Columbia Southern University and is a graduate of the Management Development Program at Canisius College Center for Professional Development. She is certified as a Safety Management Professional (SMP) by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and as an Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) by the HR Certification Institute. For the past 7 years she has been employed by Sompo where she leads a team of risk control associates who help both national and international companies with their risk management and safety activities. An ASSP member since 1996, she is past president of ASSP, having served as president from 2022-23. Christine has received the Charles E. Culbertson Award from the Society, the Risk Management and Insurance Practice Specialty Safety Professional of the Year award and the COPS Safety Professional of the Year Award.

Lisa Battino

Lisa is responsible for USCS’s safety programs including employee safety, refrigeration safety, and food safety. Ms. Battino has more than 34 years of experience in regulatory compliance and employee safety. She joined USCS in 2013 and has helped the organization focus on improving employee safety, refrigeration safety and food safety performance by implementing various pro-active safety initiatives and the BRCGS certification process. Ms. Battino is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has a B.S. in Environmental Health from West Chester University. She actively participates as a member of the ASSP Philadelphia Chapter, the GCCA safety committee, GCCA government affairs committee and the IIAR safety committee.
