Platform Statement

My name is Carl Granger. I am interested in the Area Director - North position to continue growing and learning through my passion for ASSP. I am currently the Nominations and Elections Chair for the Mid-Michigan Chapter and the By-Laws Chair for the Greater Detroit Chapter. I have been Secretary, Treasurer, and President for both the Mid-Michigan and Greater Detroit Chapters in the past. I have held a leadership position in one or both Chapters for the better part of the past 15 years. As Area Director-North, I am hopeful that I can continue to work with MidMichigan and GDC, as well as all the other Chapters in our Region 7. There are some truly great Chapters in Region 7, and there are a couple that have had challenging years post-pandemic, but I know they can be great again! As Area Director, I will be able to be a resource on that path to greatness. I am committed to ASSP. I see the value in the organization as a whole and all the parts of the organization…Chapters, Practice Specialties, Common Interest Groups, etc.., but most of all the Chapter members that make it a great organization. Thank you for your consideration.
