By definition, the role of Assistant Administrator is to assist the Administrator with the ‘business of safety’, completing the required activities and reporting for the larger organization. Beyond simply supporting the Administrator though, my vision for the Assistant Administrator position is one of facilitator. With so many active members and such incredible diversity of focus, talent, and interest, proper administration of the practice specialty enriches the experience of the members, being a resource and providing ‘connective tissue’ within and beyond the Environmental Practice Specialty.
