As a proud Latina and Safety professional, I am passionate about creating inclusive and culturally aware environments where Hispanic professional feel seen, heard, and empowered. My work at Chevron and involvement with the Somos Employee Network (ERG) has allowed me to lead initiatives that elevate safety culture while listening to diverse voices within our workforce. I’ve held leadership roles in both the Somos Employee Network and the Houston Texas A&M Chapter where I’ve been able to carry out my passion of connecting with talented Latinos and helping each other grow and find their strengths. I’ve done this through raising funds, organizing events, sharing cultural experiences, creating bilingual safety resources, mentoring others, and creating spaces where others can connect and share their experiences. As Assistant Administrator, I’ll bring this same energy to the Hispanic Safety Professionals. I will work to complete my responsibilities to strengthen our members’ voices, create meaningful engagement, and help support initiatives that will allow professional growth and impact on our community. Simply, I will work to provide an inclusive environment where our ASSP members can thrive.
