    Society Fellows Identified by New FASSP Designation

    ASSP has introduced the FASSP designation for Society Fellows. Used after an individual’s name, FASSP is a recognizable way to identify recipients of the Society’s highest honor. ASSP President Rixio Medina announced the new designation during the Past Presidents and Fellows Reception at Safety 2019 in New Orleans.

    OSHA Requests Information on Possible Updates to the Lockout/Tagout Standard

    OSHA is seeking information on a possible update to the Control of Hazardous Energy standard. Specifically, the agency is interested in comments on the use of control circuit-type devices to isolate energy, as well as evolving technology for robotics.
