Emerging Professionals Mentorship Program

Guidelines for Mentors and Mentees

• You must be an member of ASSP and our Emerging Professionals in OSH Common Interest Group to participate as a mentee in this program
• All information exchanged between matched pairs for mentoring is held in strict confidence; applications are viewed only by the matching committee
• Pairing is based on answers you provide on the application to ensure a fulfilling and rewarding experience
• Mentors and mentees should commit to at least one hour per month for meeting, by phone, e-mail or in person
• Teams are matched for six months with an option to extend for another six months if both parties agree
• Mentors are not expected to provide employment or business opportunities for mentees — just life lessons, advice, coaching and mentoring

Thank you to all that signed up for the 2024 Mentorship Program! The deadline to sign up was May 17, 2024.

Any applications after May 17, 2024 will go towards the 2025 Mentorship Program that will begin February 1, 2025. The deadline to sign up for the 2025 Mentorship Program is November 15, 2024.
