Biography

Jessica Jannaman, works at TE Connectivity in Royal Oak, Michigan as a Senior Manager for EHS. Prior to TE Connectivity, Jessica worked at Global Automotive Systems in Roseville Michigan as the Executive Director or EHS, Quality and Manufacturing Planning and Dura Automotive Systems in Auburn Hills, MI, as the Global Director for Environmental, Health, Safety & Energy.

Previous to the years at Dura Automotive Systems, Jessica worked at FCA as well as ABB in North America roles. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and a Master’s of Science in Safety Management from Oakland University. Jannaman is also Lean Black Belt.

Jannaman serves on the Board of Directors, Environmental Division & Student Division Committee for the Michigan Safety Conference (MSC). She has also served on the Board of the Michigan Lean Consortium (MLC) and is a Past President American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Greater Detroit Chapter. Jessica is also Past Innovation Chair for the Environmental Practice Specialty of ASSP and currently serves as Chair for the Student Committee.

Additionally, Jannaman currently supports Oakland University as Chair for the Environmental, Health & Safety Industry Advisory Board and is an Adjunct Professor.

Jessica has contributed as a co-author for book publications including “Safety Leadership and Professional Development” and has supported as a participant on a variety of standards committees such as the ANSI R15.06 Industrial Robots and Robot Systems, Safety Requirements.

Platform Statement

I am a hard-working individual with over 13 years of experience in EHS. My passion is facilitating teams and elevating professional development within the EHS. My strengths are collaborating with others and facilitating teams with a continuous improvement approach. I have supported the EHS profession through ASSP within the Greater Detroit Chapter and the Environmental Practice Specialty. I have also supported in various EHS publications. Additionally, I am passionate about working with students and participate with universities such as Oakland University serving as the Chair of the EHS Program’s Industry Advisory Board and as an Adjunct Professor.
