In running for the ASSP Ergonomics Practice Specialties Assistant Administrator position, my goal is to better engage and involve the EH&S community by working to bridge the various generational gaps that exist among those new to the fields of safety and ergonomics, and those at the prime and/or twilight of their careers.
Everyone, regardless of their level of knowledge and experience, has the opportunity to learn from each other via their shared experiences, stories, successes, and challenges.
The better we as a Practice Specialty do to smooth these gaps and engage more people in the EH&S Community, the more successful we will all be, regardless of our area of specialization.
It is my firm belief that we can all “win” in this effort. Because frankly, in the world of EH&S, there should never be winners and losers, but always and only winners.
