News

Welcome to the press room for the American Society of Safety Professionals’ (ASSP) Safety 2026, taking place June 15-17 in Anaheim, California. We look forward to welcoming members of the media to this annual conference and expo.

Media access is available throughout Safety 2026. To request credentials, please contact Katie Bronk, External Communications and Public Relations Manager, at kbronk@assp.org. Please include your name, title and media outlet in your email.

Onsite Press Room

The press room will be located in Room 204A at the Anaheim Convention Center (800 W. Katella Avenue, Anaheim, California 92802).

Hours of operation:

  • Monday, June 15: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Tuesday, June 16: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  • Wednesday, June 17: 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Media Guidelines

Media representatives must register with the ASSP Press Office in advance to receive credentials. Once onsite, please go to a registration kiosk to scan your barcode and print your press badge.

Eligible media include bloggers, editors, podcasters, producers, reporters, writers and others representing recognized outlets such as blogs, magazines, newspapers, radio and television stations, or online publications.

Freelance journalists must provide an assignment letter from the outlet they represent.

Advertising, marketing, public relations and sales representatives are not eligible to obtain a press pass.

Photography and recording during Safety 2026 sessions are prohibited without prior approval from the ASSP Press Office. Registered media may photograph presenters before or after sessions, or in public areas, with the presenter’s explicit consent.

The ASSP Press Office can assist with coordinating interviews with ASSP leadership, board members, presenters and more. To schedule an interview, visit the press room or email kbronk@assp.org.

Sessions of Interest

Over 200 sessions will cover a wide range of timely topics, including artificial intelligence (AI), falls from heights, prevention through design, workforce well-being, emergency management, ergonomics and much more.

Media are invited to attend the OSHA Super Session Panel on Wednesday, June 17. Following the panel, Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA, David Keeling, will be available to take questions from the press. Additional details coming soon.
