OSHA's updated injury tracking application (ITA) is now available. Under OSHA regulations, establishments that meet certain size and industry criteria, including many high-hazard environments, are required to electronically submit injury and illness data from their OSHA recordkeeping once per year.
The application webpage includes information on OSHA's requirements as well as guidance from the agency about electronically submitting your company's injury and illness data from the OSHA Form 300A (Summary of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses), OSHA Form 300 (Log of Work-Related Injuries and Illnesses) and OSHA Form 301 (Injury and Illness Incident Report). These data are collected as part of OSHA's efforts to evaluate the safety of a workplace, understand industry hazards, and implement worker protections to reduce and eliminate hazards.
Visit the ITA Coverage Application to determine whether your organization is required to submit this data, which is due by March 2.
