ASSP Research

Publications

The American Society of Safety Professionals is committed to conducting and supporting research and sharing existing data across the broad occupational safety and health community to better protect workers in every industry.

ASSP Published Research

Sharing knowledge is at the heart of what we do, and the research we support is a reflection of that. We work independently and partner with other industry-leading organizations to conduct and publish research that aligns with our commitments to advancing the profession through evidence-based approaches, and making safety part of the sustainability discussion with business leaders and the investment community.

ASSP Research Initiative

In late 2017, ASSP brought together leaders from business, professional organizations, academia and government for a workshop to discuss the needs of safety and health researchers, identify gaps in existing research and explore how new research can help provide solutions in real-world business settings. This ongoing initiative aims to promote alliances to maximize limited resources while advancing evidence-based practices in the OSH field.
