Safe + Sound Week Is Aug. 13-19

Jul 01, 2018

Graphics_Save_the_DateOSHA's Safe + Sound Week, a nationwide event intended to raise awareness of the value of safety and health programs, is slated for Aug. 13-19. Your organization or local ASSP chapter can participate by planning activities that include core elements of a successful safety and health program: management leadership, worker participation and a systematic approach to finding and fixing hazards in the workplace.

Safe + Sound Week is free to participants. Simply visit OSHA’s website to register your participation. Whether your organization/group hosts a public or private event, as long as it promotes safety and emphasizes its importance in the workplace, your group will receive a certificate and a web badge.

Be sure to check OSHA's interactive map for public events near you. ASSP also has a selection of resources that our member communities can use to promote the campaign and elevate awareness of workplace safety.
