Director-at-Large Heather MacDougall, J.D., CSP, is Senior Vice President, EHS at Moss & Associates, where she leads safety strategy across the company’s energy platform. MacDougall joined the ASSP Board of Directors on July 1, 2025, serving a three-year term. She also is a trustee of the ASSP Foundation – the Society's charitable arm – in her dual leadership role.
MacDougall brings more than 30 years of experience spanning government, industry, and law. She is former chair of the Occupational Safety and Health Review Commission. She draws upon this multidisciplinary background to align strategy, operational excellence, and leadership to advance workplace health and safety.
MacDougall has been an ASSP member since 2021. She serves on two standards committees – Z10 OSH Management and Z16.1 Safety and Health Metrics.
MacDougall earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Wisconsin and her law degree at Marquette University. She resides in Palm Beach Gardens, FL.
