With over 28 years of experience in risk management and environmental, health, and safety (EH&S), I am honored to be considered for the role of Region VI North Area Director. My career has spanned private consulting and two decades of public service with Prince William County Government, where I supported 35 agencies and over 5,000 employees. I’ve led award winning safety initiatives, implemented enterprise-wide risk management, and helped secure over $15 million in insurance dividends reinvested into EH&S improvements. Currently, I serve as Risk & Compliance Manager for the Prince William County Fire & Rescue System, focusing on injury prevention, risk mitigation, and compliance—supporting those who protect our communities. As a Certified Safety Professional and 25+ year member of ASSP, I’ve served as Chapter President, Conference Chair, and currently contribute to the Northern Virginia Chapter and Region VI PDC Organizing Committee. These experiences have deepened my commitment to advancing our profession and supporting our members. If elected, my vision is to foster collaboration across Region VI North Area chapters by developing shared resources that elevate member engagement and professional growth. This includes launching a shared resources collaboration, developing a pool of our monthly lecture series and well-credentialed speakers, and creating a platform for chapters to share best practices—because why reinvent the wheel when we can learn from each other? Together, we can build a stronger, more connected Region VI North Area that empowers safety professionals, enhances chapter vitality, and drives meaningful impact across our communities.
