Homicide is the second leading cause of injury death among female workers, CDC says. Approximately 43% of women fatally assaulted while at work in 2015 were killed by relatives or partners; for men, the corresponding figure was 2%.

A useful list of publications, websites and organizations to combat violence against women in the workplace is available on U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ website. Included in the resource list are guides on state laws aimed to help survivors of domestic or sexual violence and research on violence in the workplace.

Visit the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ website for the complete list of resources.
