Rodd Wagner’s work has taken him around the world.
To better understand collaboration and high performance, he’s traveled to a fiberglass factory in Brazil, a vehicle engineering facility in India, a paper warehouse in Poland, a home improvement store in Wales, a medical device design site in Germany, a pharmaceutical firm in Switzerland, the Pentagon, the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz, the attack submarine USS California and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center.
And on Oct. 5, he’s coming to Chicago to share what he’s learned with attendees at ASSP’s 2018 Leadership Conference.
Wagner is a leading authority on collaboration and employee performance. His thought leadership focuses on how human nature affects business strategy. He and Dr. Gale Muller are authors of the book Power of 2, grounded in five years of research on how people can work together most effectively. During the conference, Wagner will share insights on the science of collaboration.
Wagner is a New York Times bestselling author and contributor to Forbes. His books have been published in 10 languages and his work featured in The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company, ABC News, CNBC.com, and the Globe and Mail and National Post in Canada. He is currently completing work on his fourth book.
Wagner holds an M.B.A. with honors from the University of Utah Graduate School of Business. He was formerly a principal of Gallup, the research director of the Portland Press Herald and WGME-TV in Maine, a reporter and news editor for The Salt Lake Tribune, and a radio talk show host.
