Central Florida Chapter ASSP member and Walt Disney World Principal Safety Professional Ken Motsenbocker recently hosted an immersive tour of the Walt Disney World Textile Services Operation for 15 ERAU safety students, joined by faculty advisor Brian Murray, Student Section President Maria Valentinez and Vice President Zoe Guyette. Students explored the facility’s operations, learned about proactive safety and wellbeing programs and gained firsthand insight into how safety is integrated into daily processes at Walt Disney World.

Following the tour, the group attended a networking mixer with Walt Disney World Safety Professionals and ASSP members who are former Professional Interns, including Kyle Williams,Michelle Arias, Susan Nitch, Sophia Filiault and Tamzen Wilson.

The experience highlighted Walt Disney World’s strong safety culture while inspiring and connecting the next generation of safety professionals. Opportunities like this are instrumental in developing future safety leaders, and the Central Florida Chapter is proud to support them.
