In 2022, ASSP launched a project to upgrade its information technology infrastructure and association management system (AMS), which functions as our database and processing system. It also enables e-commerce interactions (e.g., dues payments, product orders, event registrations) with members and customers, and allows us to perform association-specific functions such as volunteer management and governance.  

ASSP’s staff have been working diligently with our vendor to stand up and test the new system and expect to launch it later this year. What will this change mean to you:

• Streamlined experience. With the new system, it will be easier and quicker to renew your dues, register for events, purchase products and retrieve information. It will also improve our operational efficiency because it will eliminate many manual efforts and automate time-consuming processes, leading to quicker responses and a better overall member experience for you.
• Enhanced decision-making. Improved access to data and real-time reporting will improve our decision-making so we can better anticipate your changing needs and deliver greater member value to you.
• Access to future-ready technology. Investing in the new AMS ensures that our members will have access to leading features and tools. As the system evolves, you will feel more connected and engaged with the Society.
  

We believe this new system will best position the Society for long-term business success. As with any large-scale change, we anticipate some challenges as the system rolls out. Your feedback and patience as we work to resolve any issues that may occur will be most appreciated. We understand that change is challenging, but we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible.
