Jun 01, 2018
SU_DianneGroteAdams1Dianne Grote Adams, M.S., CSP, CIH, CPEA, a professional member of ASSP’s Central Ohio Chapter, was honored by Otterbein University with a Special Achievement Award. The award recognizes excellence and high professional achievement to Otterbein alumni whose contributions elevated their professional industry at a local or regional level or at the organization where the recipient works.

Grote Adams was honored for her contributions to the safety and industrial hygiene professions at the 2018 Otterbein Alumni Awards Soiree in April 2018.

“It’s such an incredible honor to be recognized by my alma mater,” she says. “I owe much of my success to this institution, which has helped guide and shape me into a passionate and hardworking professional.”

Grote Adams is president and owner of Safex, a business, safety and health consultant company offering training, testing and staff support.

Well deserved, which I am pleased to so comment, especially since we have a common friend with the initials AD.

Surprising, shared with AD that I almost had the good fortune to attend Otterbein College too. (i.e., would have been sponsored by Hayes EUB church of Northwood, Ohio back in the 60's).

A working career later, and it proves again to be a small world, such that when you can reach out and offer some R+ to a "difference-making" individual receiving a special achievement award  --  that is both an honor and a pleasure.
