ASSP member Abby Ferri, CSP, joined Merjent Inc. as senior safety consultant. Merjent Inc. is an environmental consulting firm in Minneapolis, MN, that serves clients in the oil and gas, biofuels, electric transmission, wind and solar energy, and transportation sectors. Ferri will provide safety consultation services to new and existing customers.
"My responsibilities are to build our safety consulting services with our current client base in the oil and gas, biofuels, electric power generation and transmission, wind and solar energy, and transportation sectors," says Ferri. "My immediate goal is to expand to my areas of specialty in construction, manufacturing, beverage, retail and hospitality."
Ferri has more than 16 years' experience in the field of safety and health in diverse industries including construction, manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, beverage and retail. She is President of our Northwest Chapter and Administrator of the Women in Safety Excellence Common Interest Group. She is also a member of the Construction, Consultants and Risk Management/Insurance practice specialties.
