Mentors not only can help mentees make industry connections, but also can help them achieve professional goals. Our Hispanic Safety Professionals (HSP) Common Interest Group has launched a mentoring program to bring together new and seasoned members of the safety profession.
Maestros (mentors) and mentees are paired based on their answers on the application to align with the following paths:
- Maestro tecnico (technical): provide a road map to success to bridge the field experience gap.
- Maestro académico (academic): provide a road map to success from many safety-related colleges/universities and safety certifications
- Maestro de liderazgo (leadership): provide a road map to success and bridge the soft skills gap.
