A newly revised standard, ANSI/ASSP Z359.1-2020, The Fall Protection Code, provides users with a key to understanding and applying the ANSI/ASSP Z359 Fall Protection Code standards, as well as a single point of reference to define compliance within the Fall Protection Code.
The Z359 standards address a wide range of fall protection and fall restraint requirements. Using the guidance in these standards, OSH professionals can understand the requirements for personal fall arrest systems, various lanyards, self-rescue systems, full-body harnesses, self-retracting devices and anchorage connectors; develop a comprehensive managed fall protection program; and design active fall protection systems.
