Important updates are coming to the tools and support that you use to communicate with your members and manage your community’s operations.
Server Upgrade
ASSP is moving servers to increase storage capacity, speed and security features to role-specific email accounts for all communities, as well as chapter and region websites.
What This Means for You
- Data migration is scheduled for the week of Feb. 10. During this week access to the current webmail web address and chapter and region website dashboard access will be interrupted. The public facing pages of websites will not be impacted.
- After the data migration, you will no longer use the current web address for webmail to access your role-specific email accounts. Instructions for accessing these accounts through the new server will be sent after the migration is complete. Access to all other web tools, including websites and Real Magnet, will remain the same.
Web Ticketing System & Support Team Updates
To help requests get processed quickly and efficiently, ASSP is launching a ticketing system for web support. Use the system for a range of needs, from account access and website updates to training requests and technical questions. Instead of sending an email, visit asspchaptersupport.freshdesk.com to get started.
In addition to improving our support processes, we're adding Steve Carasso to our support team. He has a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications and has been with ASSP for three years. He has more than 25 years of association experience working in marketing/communications roles. Steve will work with Mark Huelskamp to support communications for ASSP member communities
