Our Council on Practices and Standards is changing its awards and honors program timeline to align with the Society year—July 1 to June 30. Changing from the previous April 1 to March 31 timeline will help eliminate issues related to leadership transitions and better align reporting to create a straightforward, simplified process for recognizing member and community achievements. Each community’s reporting matrix will now be due June 30.

These changes do not affect the date for Safety Professional of the Year Award nominations from communities, which remains March 15.
